Review:
The cover, is in a way, strange, but still unique. The Emperor State building. I hope I get to see it some day!
I'm still arguing with myself about whether this one or The Battle Of The Labyrinth is my favorite. . .Maybe both! But, I kept saying to myself "Finally!" because Annabeth & Percy were almost a couple(yes, I'm also a romance-a-holic). I really hope to read some more of Riordan's work. I requested The Lost Hero from the library and hope to get to read it soon. Isn't it like about the kids who actually have to do the next biggest prophecy or something? And, of course, I can't wait to read Rick's other series as well. Any suggestions on those?
Other than that, I'm pretty happy about how the series ended. I couldn't believe that the series was only 5 books long though. Kind of sad.

Review: The Battle Of The Labyrinth

Review:
I think this one might be my favorite yet!! I was working through my classes for the week, and in World Languages we turned out to be studying the gods and labyrinths! Weird, huh? For those who can't figure out what the word 'labyrinth' means, and you don't get the answer from the cover, it means maze :D New word of the day! Hee-hee!
*SPOILER* When Annabeth kissed Percy, I have to admit, I almost jumped up and shouted 'YES!' but I didn't..I think my family would have put me in the psych ward on lockdown >.< That wouldn't have been good!  I wouldn't be able to blog moi reviews :O I know..Scary thought!
Ok, show of hands, who was grinning like an idiot when Mr. D did something nice? C'mon, I know I wasn't the only one who was grinning!
I almost cried when Pan died. I mean Grover's WHOLE life was about finding him! And now that he did, what's he supposed to do? Stay at camp? Continue finding half-bloods and bringing them to camp? It's not very fair, but I suppose life goes on..
Who screamed when you read that Luke's body was in the casket? I'm like 'He's dead! No, wait..' how would he possibly be dead? It was Percy's job to kill him! And if he didn't, I'd go find my own weapon and do it myself! That traitor!
As you can tell..I'm kind of hyped up on this series. . .And it won't be long before I read the last in the series, but I have a long list of books to read before it..

Review: The Titan's Curse

 Summary From Shelfari:

The Titan's Curse is book 3 of the lightning Thief series, and just like the first book, it has vigorous nonstop action that makes you want to read more!


Review:
I wish I could say that this book was my favorite, but it wasn't. I have fallen into a habit of not being interested in a lot of good books lately, and it's killing me! Not literally, I'll still be blogging about books tomorrow and next week and next month, etc. . . But I did find this one good. I have absolutely no patients for Annabeth's mother though. I can handle Hades and Zesus and even Apollo, just not her. Anyone else have that problem?? *SPOILER*Anyway, I was kind of worried about Annabeth(kind of funny, huh? I hate her mother but worry about her) when she went off that cliff. . .I mean, HOW DID SHE SURVIVE??? That Thorn guy had to have saved her SOMEHOW. But I think Riordan should make a book from Annabeth's point of view about what happened when she fell off the cliff. *END OF SPOILER* Anyway, I'm so obsessed with the series, that I can't make myself stop! So, I already requested The Battle Of Labyrinth from the library. I should have the review sometime within the next couple of weeks :)

Review: The Sea Of Monsters(Percy Jackson; Book 2)

I hate pirates. I really do. When it got to the pirates part, I shut the book and actually stayed away for a couple of hours. So what is it, in any type of book, that makes you set it down and stay away for a while?

REVIEW(No spoilers):
The Sea Of Monsters. Doesn't that title seem sort of scary to you? Even though Riordan picked different, unique names, the whole series is- what's a good word for it? Crazy? No. Scary? No, well yes, but not the right word. Amazing isn't even a good enough for it. I've read 2 out of however many are in the series, and I'm already seeing why hundreds of thousands of people like this series so well. It's nothing like Twilight or Hunger Games, or any of the other best sellers out there. Someone thought that people needed a God lesson without knowing it, and that person just so happened to be Riordan. He was the right man for the job, and I can't wait to review the rest of the series.

Review: The Lightning Thief

SUMMARY:
Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school...again. And that's the least of his troubles. Lately, mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus seem to be walking straight out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology textbook and into his life. And worse, he's angered a few of them. Zeus's master lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect.

Now Percy and his friends have just ten days to find and return Zeus's stolen property and bring peace to a warring Mount Olympus. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the true thief: he must come to terms with the father who abandoned him; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and unravel a treachery more powerful than the gods themselves.

REVIEW:
I didn't think I'd like this book! But once again, I was wrong! It was amazing :) No wonder why people like this book so much! 
Percy Jackson was just another name I would never have heard of. Rick Riordan did an excellent job creating this story and deserves 5 stars and a whole lot more readers.
