Review: Dead Until Dark

Summary of Book:

Review:
Nice cover. It's not exactly what I pictured for a good cover for them, but, it works. 
I couldn't get into it at the beginning. I was almost(ALMOST) begging to read something else. And you might disagree, but hey! We're all different. 
I managed to get into it though, and golly did I have a good time reading it! 


First off, what kind of name for a vampire is Bill? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who laughed when he introduced himself to Sookie. 


Second off, I liked that the people in the world KNEW that vampires existed. But the thing is, then they can just blame them, and point fingers if someone was murdered. 


And last, but never least, I can NOT wait until I can read the next on in the series. I might even watch the TV show. Has anyone watched it? What do you think about it??

A Rough, Tough Summary:

This is their story as told by Ponyboy, a greaser with good reason to fear the Socs(the more privileged boys) and a witness to the savage baiting that leads to best friend to manslaughter.

Review:
You know what I would just LOVE? S.E. Hinton wrote this book from the greasers' side of view. Why not try writing a book from the Socs point of view? I mean, Cherry said that their life wasn't as good as it looks. I want to know HOW it's different. How it's tough, like the greasers'. I'm seriously scared of Darry. I mean, he could be a Socs whenever he wanted. But the only thing that held him back was the greasers. That's called family. Family sticks together, loves each other and cares for each other. Now you don't find a good book every day about how a family sticks together in a fight. This is really a one-in-a-million kind of book. 
*SPOILERS* I hated it when Johnny died. I almost cried!! How often does that happen?? And then Dally went and killed himself. Well, the police shot him, but still! I don't think he should have gotten himself killed. But I think, that without him killing himself, this book wouldn't have been able to end. *END OF SPOILERS* Can you say classic?
